Yesterday I went to a great little seminar given by Anne Marie Gillen of Th Gillen Group and Maury Rogow of Rip Media Marketing held at The Open Fest theater in Hollywood.  I've been producing for a long time but I believe that if you trust the people holding the seminar, there's always something to learn.  Specially as our industry changes and morphs and leaps into new areas.  I've been really studying the DIY models for distribution and Maury's enlightening tips on ways in which to effectively market your film on the net were invaluable.   Two engaging speakers - and well worth the early morning rise to take part in the seminar.
